SAGE BLACKWOOD
~Stars:  Four
~Author of:  the Jinx Trilogy (Jinx, Jinx's Magic, Jinx's Fire).
~Notes:  Sage Blackwood is probably a little known author (I discovered her books by walking around aimlessly in the library), but she's a pretty good author.
Her books have no language (like most of the books I read), unless you count the once or twice you see "How the--" (no object inserted).  She does use the word flippin' occasionally, as a byword I guess.
Now, romance.  There is little to none.  The main character (Jinx) starts out as being 6 years old, and grows up over the course of the trilogy to be 14.  He can see people's thoughts (long story, just read and you'll know what I mean), and once or twice sees people thinking "pink fluffy thoughts" to each other (love), but never actually thinks them himself.  He does, in the last book, realize that he's in love with a girl he met in the first book, but they pretty much just have this scene where they sit on a log in the middle of the woods and look at each other and come to the startling conclusion that they're in love.  But they don't talk about it at all.  There is also love between a particular husband and wife, but all you know is what Jinx sees ("silvery thoughts").  He realizes real quick what kind of thoughts those are and learns to leave the room when he sees them.  Haha.  Hah.
I sincerely hope that wasn't confusing.  If you read, all will come to light.  :)

Okay.  Like I said, I'll post some of my own work soon!
Peace out!
