DONITA K. PAUL
~Stars:  Four
~Author of:  the DragonKeeper Chronicles (DragonSpell, DragonQuest, DragonKnight, DragonFire, DragonLight), the Chiril Chronicles (The Dragons of Chiril, Dragons of the Valley, Dragons of the Watch), the Realm Walkers series (One Realm Beyond, Two Renegade Realms, more to come), a WHOLE BUNCH of romance novels, and two picture books.
~Notes:  Donita K. Paul is a young adult author, so her books are slightly older.  I've read both the DragonKeeper and Chiril Chronicles, and plan on reading the Realm Walker series soon (the library doesn't have them ;D), but I've not read her other books.  She is an AMAZING author.
Both of the series I have read are allegories.  To the Bible, of course.  They're REALLY, REALLY well written.  HOWEVER.  Since the (main) audience is teenagers, her books have quite a bit of romance.  The main character in the DragonKeeper books starts out as fifteen, and grows up (of course).  She falls in love in book #3.  By then she's about 18.  Her and the knight she loves kiss in a very detailed scene in book #3.  Eheh.  That's when they realize that they are (OBVIOUSLY) meant for each other.  After that, though, they get married, and when they kiss, it is totally not as detailed.  :P  So that's the extent of the romance.  As for language, there is absolutely none.
Now, the Chiril Chronicles are not as romantic.  The main character is probably around 18.  She falls in love in book #1, but doesn't really have an active love life, except for holding hands and the rare kiss on her cheek.  Book #3 is where it really gets intense.  Here's an overview.  The main characters are both about 20.  One is a country lass, one is a man of the elite upper class.  They get trapped in a difficult situation involving a giant inescapable bottle full of rowdy children (long story).  They fall in love (of course), but really struggle with their feelings because of the radical difference between their social statuses.  They kiss several times, but only two of the times are very detailed.  That's the extent of the romance.  As with the DragonKeeper Chronicles, there is absolutely no language.
