BRYAN DAVIS
~Stars:  Four
~Author of:  the Children of the Bard series (Song of the Ovulum, From the Mouth of Elijah, The Seventh Door, Omega Dragon), the Tales of Starlight series (Masters and Slayers, Third Starlighter, Exodus Rising), the Dragons of Starlight series (Starlighter, Warrior, Diviner, Liberator), the Echoes from the Edge trilogy (Beyond the Reflection's Edge, Eternity's Edge, Nightmare's Edge), the Dragons in our Midst series (Raising Dragons, The Candlestone, Circles of Seven, Tears of a Dragon, the Oracles of Fire series (Eye of the Oracle, Enoch's Ghost, Last of the Nephilim, The Bones of Makaidos), the Reapers Trilogy (Reapers, more to come soon), one children's book, a book for men, and one novel.
~Notes:  Wow this guy has written a lot of books.  I've only read the Dragons in our Midst series, but I hope to read all of his books soon.  The Oracles of Fire series is a sequel to the DioM, and the library doesn't have either, so I hope to own the OoF at some point. (haha the OoF lol)
Language: as usual, there is none.  He's a Christian author and his books are somewhat allegories.
Romance: yes.  There is romance.  His books are for young adults, so......  But the good thing is, the romance (well, most of it anyway) is pure.  Like, they are pure relationships.  The main characters in the series I've read (Billy and Bonnie in DioM [cheesy, I know]) are teenagers and they fall in love (duh).  They think about each other a lot, Billy is protective of Bonnie, and they pray about their feelings and for each other.  It's really sweet and you can practically taste the emotion in some of the prayers.  I personally find it obnoxious, as it plays too large of a role in the books and is honestly a bit too sweet for me.  I prefer well developed romance that plays a minor role.  But that's personal preference.  As for the non-pure romance, well, the little part I've read was a man looking at a girl with that longing look.  Haha
I think that from him, you could probably expect pure romance and no language.  I recommend him as a pretty fair author.
